Our full size mermaid paper mache sculpture is a dreamy blue-eyed beauty created by Rebloom Design House, read more. She is over 6 feet in length!
She sings the song of the sea with an organic diamond pattern body in gray-green and cream colors and a tail of teal green and thin white shells. Her yellow hair is painted in a swirl down her back and a headdress of handmade pink and cream paper flowers wraps around her like a spray of seaweed.
The mermaid can be suspended from the ceiling, seeming to swim. The sculpture was crafted using wire for the form and layers of paper, cardboard, paste, and paint. Two wires are connected to the main body of the wire sculpture inside and extend out from her back in a 2 inch loop to mount for hanging. We recommend hanging her so that her upper body is higher, as she was designed to be seen swimming in an upward motion. You will need to use the transparent fishing line around her right arm and connect it to your wire or chain which will hang from the ceiling as without it the mermaid rolls a bit to the right. Hardware not included.
